Huawei scores smartphone supplier deal with Ottawa Senators

BEIJING, CHINA – Huawei is teaming up with the Ottawa Senators to become that NHL team’s official smartphone supplier for the next two seasons.The announcement, made Tuesday from Huawei’s Beijing research and development facilities in conjunction with Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson’s visit, also coincides with the launch of Huawei’s new Nexus 6P Android phone in Canada. The sponsorship includes rinkboard and in-game advertising, along with the option for local sales promotions for Huawei smartphones.
