TORONTO — Bell Media announced today an exclusive content agreement with Twentieth Century Fox that will deliver past seasons of Homeland, Legends and Sirens, among other TV shows, to Bell’s CraveTV streaming service.
With the launch later this month of CraveTV’s Showtime Collection, Bell will make available all 24 episodes of the first and second seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Homeland series, which is currently running in season 3 on Bravo. Additional seasons of Homeland will be available in future via CraveTV as part of Bell’s multi-year content agreement with Twentieth Century Fox.
The other TV series included in the exclusive content deal announced today between Bell and Twentieth Century Fox are Legends, Salem, Graceland and Sirens.
“These Fox series represent some of the very best in serialized storytelling available and confirm CraveTV’s status as the home of premium television in Canada,” said Mike Cosentino, senior vice-president of programming for Bell Media, in a news release.
Evan Scheffel, SVP, worldwide pay TV and SVOD, Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, was quoted in the release as saying, “The availability of past seasons on CraveTV is an excellent way to expand the audience reach for some of Fox’s strongest programming now available on linear television. We are very pleased to further our relationship with Bell Media through this content licensing agreement.”
