Hollywood Suite to premiere What About Our Future? doc on March 21

TORONTO — Hollywood Suite today announced the socially conscious documentary short What About Our Future? will have its Canadian broadcast premiere on Sunday, March 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Hollywood Suite’s 2000s (HS00) channel.

Directed by Jaime Leigh Gianopoulos and Cláudio Cruz, the film follows a group of teens who organized the largest climate strike in Vancouver’s history, which included appearances by activists Greta Thunberg and David Suzuki.

“The most inspiring thing about these young activists is their belief in real change,” said Sharon Stevens, vice-president of programming for Hollywood Suite, in a press release. “Their strength and determination show us that another world is possible, and we are honoured to share this film with our audience.”

Hollywood Suite and the David Suzuki Foundation will also present an exclusive online screening of What About Our Future? followed by a conversation with the filmmakers and Canadian climate activists on Thursday, April 29 at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). Hollywood Suite also previously announced the March launch of its World Cinema Wednesdays programming, and a Women in Film collection running throughout March.
