Hollywood Suite to premiere Into the Dark horror anthology


TORONTO — Hollywood Suite announced today Into the Dark, the 24-film horror anthology from Blumhouse Television (known for producing The Jinx and Sharp Objects), will have its Canadian premiere exclusively on Hollywood Suite this winter.

Each month through the end of 2022, two holiday-themed horror films from the anthology will air on Hollywood Suite and be available to stream on demand. The final two films will air on Jan. 1, 2023.

“With 24 terrifying tales from a broad selection of genre filmmakers, creators and actors, each film features Blumhouse’s signature spin on a holiday story. From Valentine’s Day, to Mother’s Day and even Pet Appreciation Week — viewers can celebrate the horrors of the holidays all year long,” reads a Hollywood Suite press release.

Starting on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. ET, Hollywood Suite will air the back-to-back premieres of Down (2018) and My Valentine (2019).

“We are thrilled to be the exclusive home of Into the Dark in Canada,” said Sharon Stevens, vice-president of programming at Hollywood Suite, in the press release.

“We’re big fans of Blumhouse, a true leader in producing premium horror films like Get Out, Paranormal Activity and The Purge,” Stevens said. “We’re honoured to bring this 24-film anthology to Hollywood Suite for a full year of fear.”
