TORONTO – As it gears up to launch its four movie services next month, independent broadcaster Hollywood Suite said Monday that it has selected Wunderkind and Rocket Digital Management (RDM) as its advertising and digital agencies of record.
Wunderkind, a non-traditional agency with an ‘open source’ network model for creative and production talent, has recently developed campaigns for clients such as Plan Canada, Sunbeam and Havergal College. For web development and social media, Hollywood Suite chose digital agency RDM whose diverse clients include Jamieson Vitamins, Zurich Insurance, and the University of Toronto. RDM and Wunderkind have also collaborated on several campaigns, such as the ‘Because I am a Girl’ campaign for Plan Canada, which won gold in the not-for-profit category at the 2010 Cassies Awards.
"Wunderkind and its sister firm Scientific Intelligence conducted a pivotal brand mapping session in preparation for the launch of Hollywood Suite this November. We’re creating a new brand for the Canadian marketplace, and their insight-driven approach and creativity are exactly what we needed," said Hollywood Suite director of marketing, Kerry Connelly, in the announcement. "RDM came out on top after a rigorous selection process, as having the expertise and the agility to build our website and digital properties."
The Hollywood Suite advertising campaign and website are underway in preparation for its advertising and channel launch in November.
