TORONTO and PERTH, AU – Toronto-based content creation company Bristow Global Media (BGM) is co-producing a new docudrama about the last days of the First World War entitled 100 Days to Victory.

BGM’s co-production partner is Australia’s Electric Pictures.  Set to premiere in Fall 2018 to coincide with the centennial anniversary of the First World War, the 2 x 60 minute docudrama has been commissioned by Corus Entertainment’s History in Canada and Foxtel’s The History Channel in Australia and New Zealand, as well as BBC Scotland, with principal production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screenwest and the Canada Media Fund (CMF).

Through cinematic recreations, interviews with historians and CGI, 100 Days to Victory tells the story of how the Allied generals strategized to win the war.

BGM was also behind the controversial CBC docu-drama series Canada: The Story Of Us that aired earlier this year.

“This is such a dramatic and important story about one of the most significant turning points in history,” said BGM president and CEO Julie Bristow, in the news release.  “We can’t wait to share this with audiences around the world and we couldn’t have asked for a better co-production partner in Electric Pictures, who have a strong reputation for producing first-class history content.”
