MONTREAL – Corus Media’s Historia has undergone a makeover that includes a new logo, a new look and new content.
The refresh, which features the iconic gold History “H” in the channel’s new logo, comes as a result of the channel’s new agreement with A+E Networks’ History to share content and branding. New shows coming this spring include a 30 minute version of Légendes de la route, which traces the evolution of legendary cars; L’histoire du monde that pays tribute to the ingenuity and adaptability of humankind; and Klondike, a drama series produced by Ridley Scott based on a true story during the Klondike gold rush in the late 1890s.
“We’re thrilled to partner with one of the most prestigious brands in the television business, which is broadcast in over 180 countries”, said Corus Media president Mario Cecchini, in the announcement. “The agreement will enhance our TV programming with shows that Historia viewers are sure to love! These will be added to our original Quebec-produced content, for which we have a number of new projects in the pipeline.”
