Hisense to create U.S. Internet-TV operation centre

ATLANTA - Chinese home appliance and electronics manufacturer Hisense has announced plans to establish an American Internet-TV operation centre that it says will launch with 2.6 million TV subscribers.The company said Friday that the new facility will be based on its successful operating system in China, which boasts 23.43 million Internet TV users, and in February, hit 11 million daily active users. With Netflix as its content partner, Hisense projects that it will exceed 6 million U.S. subscribers by 2018, covering 20 million American households (calculated by average number of American resident).http://global.hisense.com/
