Hildebrand to unveil details on new radio association at OAB conference

MARKHAM – Broadcasters will be offered a sneak peak at the new Canadian Association of Radio Broadcasters (CARB) when former CAB chair Elmer Hildebrand keynotes the annual general meeting of the Ontario Association of Broadcasters next month.

‘Connection 2010’, scheduled for October 21 at the On the Park Events and Conference Centre in Toronto, will also include speakers such as Mark Ramsey, president of Radio Intelligence USA and Mark Ramsey Media; John Parikhal, president of Joint Communications; Theresa Treutler, president and CEO of Television Bureau of Canada; and Laura Gaggi, president of Gaggi Media.

The event combines the group’s AGM and awards program into a day designed for radio and TV broadcasters looking to stay ahead of the technology curve heading in to 2011 and beyond.

Full delegate conference passes are $199 for OAB members, and $249 for non-members. Additional gala awards reception tickets can be purchased for $99. Click here for more information.
