TORONTO – Asian Television Network (ATN) reported net income of $626,795 on revenues of $6.99 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2014.

While operating revenue dipped 1% year-over-year, net profits increased by 20% over the same period in 2013, which the broadcaster attributed to increased subscription and advertising revenues coupled with lower operating expenses.  EBITDA for the quarter was $996,549, up 20% from $824,324 year-over-year.

Broken down by segment, ATN's subscription revenues for the period grew 3% to $5.37 million; advertising revenue fell 3% to $1.49 million; while programming revenue declined 14% to $104,592.
