
TORONTO – Asian Television Network (ATN) reported a net income of $361,446 on revenues of $6.23 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
While operating revenue dipped 2% year-over-year, net profits rose 6% over the same period in 2014, due in part to an increase in advertising revenue. EBITDA for the quarter was $685,224, up 9% from $627,661 year-over-year.
Broken down by segment, ATN's subscription revenues for the period dropped 4% to $5.17 million; advertising revenue increased 11% to $929,684; and programming revenue dipped 3% to $107,933.
ATN serves Canada’s diverse cultural communities with 54 premium specialty television channels, including its flagship general interest service ATN HD.
