TORONTO – High Fidelity’s four high-definition, non-fiction TV channels – Equator HD, Oasis HD, Treasure HD and Rush HD – will launch on Aurora Cable on December 1.
The cableco services parts of the Greater Toronto Area and the Golden Horseshoe.
“We feel proud to work with High Fidelity HDTV and offer our subscribers their suite of four high-definition channels,” said Aurora Cable’s vice-president and general manager Linda Morrison. “They truly reflect the HD standard we have been waiting for since HD was first tested by cable companies in Canada back in the mid-1980s.”
“We are pleased to be part of Aurora Cable’s HDTV offering,” said High Fidelity HDTV co-founder Ken Murphy. “We now look forward to serving these new GTA subscribers with some riveting, refreshing, and retrospective channels.”
