HIFI in tune with JazzFM

TORONTO – Music and art channel HIFI has become the first corporate partner of jazz radio station JAZZ.FM91 as presenting sponsor of the station’s “commercial-free Sundays”.

Formerly known as Treasure HD, HIFI is owned and operated by independent broadcaster High Fidelity HDTV.  JAZZ.FM91 bills itself as Canada’s only 24/7 jazz broadcaster and registered not-for-profit charitable arts organization dedicated to enriching the cultural, educational and community experience of their audience.

“HIFI is a premium HD channel for people who love music and art and who want less commercial interruption in their lives,” said HIFI president Ken Murphy, in the announcement.  “We’re delighted to support the mission of JAZZ.FM91 and we look forward to working together across multiple media platforms to serve our music loving audiences in exciting new ways.”
