
TORONTO — Corus Entertainment today announced HGTV Canada’s fall lineup, which includes the premieres of several new home renovation shows as well as new seasons of returning series.
The new series Making it Home with Kortney & Kenny (10 episodes x 60 minutes) pairs designer and real estate expert Kortney Wilson (above right) with contractor and Big Brother Canada alumnus Kenny Brain (above left), who help homeowners “convert their fixer-uppers into show-stopping assets,” reads a Corus press release. This Corus Studios original series premieres on HGTV Canada on Wednesday, September 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Also new to HGTV Canada is Breaking Bland (6 x 30 and 1 x 60), which sees designer Mary Welch Stasik “break design boundaries to create dream spaces,” says the release. This series premieres Tuesday, August 31 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET.
In addition, the six-episode event series Home Town Takeover (4 x 60 and 2 x 90), featuring Ben and Erin Napier, premieres Sunday, September 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Taking on 12 major renovations throughout the town of Wetumpka, Alabama, “the series showcases how helping others truly can make an impact for generations to come,” says the release.
Other shows debuting on HGTV Canada this fall include Curb Appeal Xtreme (6 x 60), I Bought a Dump, Now What (4 x 60), and The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project (6 x 60).
Returning shows include Help! I Wrecked My House (8 x 60) with designer Jasmine Roth, premiering on Wednesday, September 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and Good Bones (14 x 60), with mother-and-daughter duo Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak, which premiers on Sunday, September 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
New seasons of Property Brothers: Forever Home (18 x 60) and Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa (12 x 60) will premiere later in the fall.
