Hello Ladies! Corus introduces KIN to Canada

TORONTO – After investing in U.S.-based lifestyle digital media company KIN, Corus Entertainment said Thursday that it will launch KIN Canada, bringing the company’s multichannel network KIN Community, as well as KIN’s lifestyle creators, programming and advertising opportunities to the Canadian marketplace.

KIN Community is the number one lifestyle network on YouTube, delivering high-quality, female-focused video content across lifestyle verticals including food, health, beauty, parenting, home and entertainment.  It also nurtures new online video talent and produces custom content programs with major brand advertisers.

Corus said that the partnership aligns two market leaders in media targeted to the women’s demographic, noting its portfolio of women’s brands which includes female-focused W Network.  The deal will allow W Network and KIN to collaborate on developing talent and content targeted to the women’s demographic.  In addition, Corus becomes the exclusive Canadian media representative for KIN Community, offering advertisers access to media campaigns and brand content integrations with the world’s top digital video creators, and to KIN Community’s 28 million Twitter followers, 14.5 million Pinterest followers and 17 million Facebook fans.
