HD movie channel urges consumers to reclaim their “movie rights”

TORONTO – Hollywood Suite has launched a multi-platform campaign to educate consumers about their “movie rights.” Starting today on TV, radio, digital, outdoor and print throughout Ontario, the irreverent campaign urges movie lovers to unite and exercise their right to commercial-free, uncut movies for just a few bucks a month (the package retails for $6 or less).

The HD TV movie provider’s channels – WarnerFilms, MGM Channel, Sony Movie Channel and AXN Movies – run classic films from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, and are available on cable, satellite and IPTV systems across Canada. The campaign coincides with the end of a free preview on Rogers and Cogeco cable systems.

Hollywood Suite worked with ad agency Wunderkind and Creative Director Syd Kessler to create manifesto-themed messaging and faux-celebrity spokespeople that encourages consumers to reclaim their “movie rights” by calling their television service provider and subscribing to the package of channels.
