EDMONTON — Super Channel announced today the all-new HBO Max Original docuseries House of Ho will premiere in Canada exclusively on Super Channel Fuse on Monday, December 21.
The seven-part reality series follows the multi-generational Ho family (pictured), a wealthy Vietnamese-American family in Houston who have built a multimillion-dollar empire. Power struggles and family drama collide as Binh and Hue, immigrants who have proudly achieved the American dream, attempt to control the lives of their adult children who find themselves under constant pressure to live up to their parents’ impossible expectations.
The show is the broadcaster’s first foray into the reality genre for Super Channel Fuse, said Jackie Pardy, chief content officer of Super Channel, in a press release. “The docuseries is a fun and engaging look into the luxurious lives of the Ho family that we think will be a welcome escape to viewers over the holidays.”
Starting December 21 at 8 p.m. ET, two half-hour episodes will air back-to-back nightly from Monday to Wednesday, with a marathon of all seven episodes airing on Thursday, December 24 starting at 4:30 p.m. ET, culminating in episode seven airing at 8 p.m. ET. All episodes will drop at once on Super Channel On Demand as of December 21.
The series is produced by Lionsgate Television and Wallin Chambers, with Katy Wallin, Stephanie Bloch Chambers and Nick Lee serving as executive producers along with co-executive producers Amanda Ly and Rosalina Lydster.
