HBO Canada to launch October 30

TORONTO - The Movie Network and Movie Central are finally bringing to Canada what many TV viewers here have said they wanted: HBO. The Astral-owned TMN and Corus-owned Movie Central will together launch a new multiplex channel, to be dubbed HBO Canada, “a channel that will deliver a full slate of HBO’s award-winning, boundary-pushing, genre-defining series, films, comedies and live events,” says this morning’s press release.
