TORONTO – Canadians subscribers to NBCU streamer hayu can now binge on the steamy reality series Love Island: Australia.
The reality dating show features a group of young singles living in a luxury villa, looking for a chance to find love. When the contestants, known as Islanders, first arrive, they are coupled with complete strangers and share everything including a bed. They must not only choose their partner wisely but also win the hearts of the public. New Islanders are also regularly introduced into the villa that tests all the relationships.
Competing as individuals, as a couple, or in teams, Islanders go head-to-head in a series of sexy, intimate and exposing challenges that will take them anywhere from naughty arts and crafts, to messy obstacle courses, to sexy relationships and showing off their physically-fit prowess. At the end of the series, the winning couple (as voted by the public) is handed $50,000 in prize money to start their new lives together, but there's a catch: one is given the chance to share the money or walk away with it all.
hayu is the first all-reality subscription video-on-demand service of its kind – curated and fully integrated with social media – and is available in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark on various mobile, tablet, laptop and connected TVs.
