Halavrezos earns RTNDA lifetime achievement award

TORONTO – Veteran radio broadcaster Costas Halavrezos will be honoured with the 2011 RTNDA Lifetime Achievement Award in the Atlantic Region.The Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 2002 to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service and continued excellence during the course of their career in broadcast journalism.Halavrezos, who retired this fall from CBC Radio, was one of the best known broadcasters in the Maritimes.
