OTTAWA — Gusto TV announced today a new show, VegHeadz, which will premiere on Bell Media’s CTV Life Channel on April 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
After its debut in Canada, VegHeadz will air on Gusto TV’s 33 distribution platforms in 160 countries later this year, according to a press release.
Comprised of 13 half-hour episodes, VegHeadz “takes vegetables from the side dish to center stage,” the release explains.
“Hosted by two-time MasterChef winner Chef Pino Di Cerbo, each episode explores various themes, such as seasons or colours, that inspire four tasty plant-based plates. Featuring a grain of the day, VegHeadz reimagines what you can do with fresh produce and allows audiences to discover delightful dishes fit for any table,” the release reads.
“Working with Pino was a blast! Not only is he a skilled chef in the kitchen but it really comes across on camera,” said Keren Jackman, senior producer at Gusto Worldwide Media, in the press release.
“Pino brought a fun energy, bright personality and an immense amount of talent to VegHeadz and we cannot wait for him to come back.”
Gusto TV is an international food channel with hundreds of hours of proprietary content. Its award-winning titles can be viewed in English, Spanish and Mandarin.
