
OTTAWA — Gusto Worldwide Media continues to secure international distribution deals for Gusto TV, announcing today a new partnership with Europe’s rlaxx TV, a sister company of smart TV app developer Foxxum GmbH.
Rlaxx TV is a free, channel-based, ad-supported VOD service which replicates a live TV experience for the viewer through curated channels. Gusto TV is the first branded food channel to be integrated into the rlaxx TV platform, says the Gusto press release.
Gusto TV’s launch this fall on rlaxx TV will include 75 hours of high-resolution titles such as Cook Like a Chef, One World Kitchen, Watts on the Grill, and nine different holiday specials.
“Given our culinary offering includes Italian, Spanish, French, Greek, German, Georgian, Russian, Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, Swiss and Romanian cuisines — it’s a great fit for rlaxx TV’s international portfolio and audiences,” said Chris Knight, CEO and president of Gusto Worldwide Media, in the release.
