Gusto TV launches as linear streaming channel on Xumo

OTTAWA — Gusto Worldwide Media today announced Irvine, Calif.-based OTT service provider (and Comcast-owned) Xumo has officially launched a Gusto TV linear streaming channel, which went live to Xumo viewers on August 17.

Gusto TV first launched on the U.S. ad supported video on demand service as an AVOD content provider in September 2018. Supplementing the existing 75 hours of Gusto food programming, XUMO viewers will now receive new titles such as Fresh Market Dinners, Fish the Dish (season two), Road Grill (season one) and Cook Like a Chef (season four), says the news release.

Xumo, which isn’t available in Canada, offers more than 190 channels through live and on-demand streaming television and digital platforms. Available to more than 30 million U.S. households, it is accessed for free and without subscription through smart TVs, as well as across the web and other streaming devices, including the Xumo mobile app for iOS and Android.
