OTTAWA – Gusto Worldwide Media announced today its food program DNA Dinners will soon begin appearing on U.S. broadcaster Ovation’s travel-entertainment app Journy in the U.S.

Available on Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, XUMO, Vewd, Plex, Android and iOS devices, Journy showcases television series and shorts that focus on world travel, cultural tourism, and global citizenry. Shot in 2018, DNA Dinners is a new Gusto production, which was most recently acquired by MENA based entertainment network OSN.

The show explores diverse cultures while telling the unique stories of people who are unsure of their ancestry. Host Tyrone Edwards begins their journey of self-discovery by revealing the results of their DNA test, then working alongside an expert chef, each person then cooks a meal for their family that combines the iconic flavours and ingredients of their two cultures.

“We’ve created a truly global experience for viewers. DNA Dinners was a deeply personal project for all of us at Gusto. We’re all about diversity and how food connects us.” said Chris Knight, president and CEO of Gusto, in the press release.

DNA Dinners will be free to watch and all episodes will be made available at once when it premieres this holiday season.
