OTTAWA – Gusto Worldwide Media announced it has hired David Goldstein as its chief operations officer.
Goldstein (right) is a former regulatory affairs senior executive with CHUM Limited and CTVglobemedia (now Bell Media), and most recently served as the president and CEO of global tourism marketing and sales agency Destination Canada.
“At Destination Canada, he transformed the federal crown corporation from a traditional tourism marketing board into a producer and distributor of digital programmatic content. He oversaw multichannel marketing and sales campaigns in 13 international markets, working with media companies such as New York Times, Conde Nast, Nat GEO, The Guardian, Le Monde, Weibo and Tencent,” reads the Gusto press release.
Starting November 4, Goldstein will push Gusto’s international growth into new territories while overseeing operations at its Ottawa base, which includes its studio, test kitchen, post-production, master control and playout services.
“2020 is going to be our biggest year yet. I’m looking forward to working with David and bringing Gusto to more markets around the world,” said Chris Knight, president and CEO. “Stay tuned, it’s going to be crazy.”
