TORONTO – Groupe Média TFO is behind a new French language learning app geared towards children between the ages of 4 and 8.

Boukili Audio provides an immersive, interactive and educational reading experience for children who are native French speakers, French immersion students, or learners of French as a Second Language.  With a collection of more than 120 audio books, including more than 70 audio books exclusive to Google Assistant, the app allows children put their memory and comprehension skills to the test.  Parents may witness and guide their child’s progress with the help of a dashboard.

Boukili Audio is available on any Google Home, Google Home Mini or Google Assistant compatible smartphones and tablets.  Canadians with a Google Home or the Google Assistant installed on their smartphone or tablet – set to the French-Canadian language – may call up Boukili Audio by saying “OK Google, parler avec Boukili Audio”.

“We are thrilled to be the first French-language educational media enterprise to work with Google on a Google Assistant experience for French-speaking families in Canada”, said Groupe Média TFO president and CEO Glenn O`Farrell, in the release.  “This experience allows us to deliver our award-winning learning content in French through a fantastic new audio distribution platform that is attracting growing audiences.”
