ST. JOHN’S – Bell Media’s The Harold Greenberg Fund announced this week the HGF/Newfoundland and Labrador Shorts, a new short film program created in partnership with the Newfoundland and Labrador Film Development Corporation.
The program was launched as the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival kicked off its 30th edition.
The initiative is designed to finance short films from Newfoundland and Labrador’s filmmaking community. Through the program, two recipients will each receive a total of $20,000 in financial contributions from The Harold Greenberg Fund and NLFDC “for short, impactful standalone films,” reads the press release.
The HGF/Newfoundland & Labrador Shorts Program joins the Fund’s growing family of short film programs including: the Shorts-to-Features Program and regional programs in British Columbia, Manitoba, and the three Territories.
The application deadline is February 12, 2020. Click here for more.
