Governments of Canada, Ontario invest $1.6M to bring high-speed Internet to Perth County

PERTH COUNTY – The governments of Canada and Ontario announced today they are investing almost $1.6 million in partnership with Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) to bring high-speed Internet to over 380 homes and businesses in Perth County. A Government of Ontario press release indicates this funding includes over $219,500 from each level of government through SWIFT for a project connecting over 110 homes and businesses in the communities of Slabtown, Bornholm and Willow Grove.
