Global's lunchtime newscast cancelled too

TORONTO – A total of 39 more people have been let go by Global Television Toronto, Cartt.ca has learned. This is due to the fact that the company has decided to axe its Noon News show along with the morning news program, Global Live, which it already announced the cancellation of in November, along with the elimination of 210 broadcast employees.January 30th is said to be the last day for both programs, but we have yet to confirm that.
