Global TV to introduce new anchor Tuesday

TORONTO – Canada’s second big news anchor announcement in as many weeks will be made Tuesday.Global Television will introduce the new face of its national newscast at an event at Toronto’s swish Four Season’s hotel on Tuesday at noon ET.The new anchor will join Global National in September after Kevin Newman announced in May that he was leaving the show after 10 years “for rest and creative renewal”.www.canwest.com
