Global Ontario to broadcast news live from communities around Toronto

TORONTO – Global News Ontario will broadcast the six o’clock news from different communities around Toronto this month. From June 25 to June 29, the news crew will be on location in such GTA locations as Pickering, Milton, Maple (Canada’s Wonderland), Orillia and Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. Anchors Leslie Roberts and Carolyn MacKenzie will be joined by meteorologist Anthony Farnell and weather anchor Susan Hay with live commentary from Newstalk 1010 CFRB talk show host Bill Carroll. The broadcasts will feature local news stories as well as profiles of community leaders, the local arts scene, and residents making a difference.
