Global hands Washington chief new role

TORONTO - Troy Reeb has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice-president, news operations, Global News and CH News, CanWest MediaWorks announced Friday. Reeb will be responsible for co-ordinating all news efforts at the local and national level, providing direction to the cross-Canada team of local news directors, as well as the Global National staff, and managing and developing resources across the network on a daily basis, says the press release.
