Global fills out fall schedule with new series pickups

TORONTO — Corus Entertainment’s Global announced Tuesday it is adding several newly licensed series to its fall primetime schedule. Adding to Global’s mix of TV genres, the scripted true crime series Manhunt: Deadly Games, which chronicles the search for the perpetrator of the deadly terrorist attack at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, will premiere Monday, September 21 at 10 p.m. Another scripted series, the critically acclaimed comedy One Day at a Time, inspired by Norman Lear’s 1975 show of the same name, will debut Monday, October 12 at 9 p.m. on Global.
