
TORONTO — Global Television announced the fall premiere dates for its upcoming season, which will see a number of comedies and action-packed series added to its primetime TV schedule.
Kicking off Global’s premiere week will be the new pulse-charging drama The Brave, starring Anne Heche (Men in Trees) and former Global star Mike Vogel (Under the Dome). Premiering on Monday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, The Brave explores the complex world of elite undercover operatives executing missions around the globe. Joining the Monday schedule the following week is Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) with a new comedy inspired by his real life in 9JKL, premiering Oct. 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Global’s new Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders eight-part series will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), this true crime installment of the Law & Order franchise delves into the notorious Menendez murder case.
The fall lineup of new shows continues on Wednesdays with the premiere of the heart-pounding drama SEAL Team on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. SEAL Team features David Boreanaz (Bones) as Jason Hayes, commander of the most elite unit in the U.S. Navy, who struggles between his personal and professional life as he faces high-risk missions against impossible odds.
On Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the hit comedy Will & Grace will return to Global after an absence of 11 years. Later this fall, Thursday night’s 10 p.m. timeslot will feature the high-octane drama series S.W.A.T., starring Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), scheduled to premiere on Nov. 2.
Global’s fall premiere week will be capped off with the new Sunday night drama Wisdom of the Crowd, premiering Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jeremy Piven (Entourage) stars in this modern drama as a father who sets out to solve the heart-breaking murder of his daughter through a cutting-edge crowdsourcing app and ends up revolutionizing crime solving in the process.
