Gibson to head Telesat's international sales

OTTAWA - Telesat Holdings has hired Nigel Gibson as its vice president of international sales. Based in London, UK, Gibson will report to president and CEO Dan Goldberg, and also will serve on the executive management committee of the company. Most recently, Gibson held the position of vice president of sales for Europe, Middle East and CIS at SES New Skies. He previously worked in sales for GlobeCast, and was also in the broadcasting industry as head of DTH marketing for Sky Television in the UK. www.telesat.com
