TORONTO – Canadian Music Week is just a few days away. The 31st annual event will once again bring together thousands of musicians, music fans and industry insiders to Toronto’s Eaton Centre Marriott Hotel for a frenzied week of shows, conferences and award presentations.
For radio industry executives, the Radio Interactive 2013 conference will feature radio networking and education on March 21 and 22 during this year’s CMW. As part of the lineup of topics and speakers, Cartt.ca’s publisher and editor Greg O’Brien will also be on hand to moderate the popular “View From the Top” panel discussion on March 21 featuring Vista Radio's Margot Micallef, Bell Media Radio's Chris Gordon, Rogers Radio's Paul Ski and Corus Radio's Chris Pandoff. The radio sessions will gather some of the top domestic and international executives together to offer a state of the industry.
The popular Digital Media Summit conference is also back on March 19 and 20 with a slew of speakers and sessions discussing best practices in mobile, social and digital media trends. Visit www.digitalmediasummit.ca for further information.
Also taking place during CMW, the 2013 Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., at the Kool Haus in Toronto.
