George Leclere appointed as director of BWTF's program competition

TORONTO – Georges Leclere has been appointed as director of the Banff World Television Awards (“The Rockies”). Leclere is the founder and president of global television producer LGMA Inc. He also has a background in television and awards programming. Prior to launching LGMA, Leclere was senior vice-president of The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, a sister organization of the US Television Academy, where he ran the International Emmy Awards from 1997-2006.
