TORONTO – Game of Thrones fans wishing a glimpse into the world of Westeros won’t want to miss ‘Game Of Thrones: The Exhibition’ running from May 14 – 18 at TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.

The free, five-day, timed-ticket event will celebrate the craftsmanship that brings HBO’s epic series to life.  Located in the main-floor HSBC Gallery at TIFF Bell Lightbox, the exhibition will feature the Iron Throne, costumes, weapons and a collection of original artifacts from pivotal scenes.  The anchor to the exhibition this year is the Oculus Rift interactive experience ‘Ascend the Wall’ which places fans inside a replica of the Night’s Watch elevator.  While using the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, headphones, and 4D elements, the user is transported to the icy Northern border of the Seven Kingdoms.  The exhibition is recommended for ages 14+.

Advance tickets are available now to The Movie Network subscribers, to TIFF Members beginning April 24, and to the general public here beginning April 28 at 10:00 AM ET.  Tickets are limited to four per person.

In addition to Toronto, the ‘Game Of Thrones: The Exhibition’ will also visit the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, in association with Corus Entertainment, as part of this summer’s Fair at the PNE (The exhibit is free with admission to the Fair at the PNE) on August 16 – September 1 (closed August 18 and 25).
