Future of video delivery will highlight SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2011

EXTON, PA – More than a dozen exhibitors have committed to showcase the future of video delivery at the Spotlight Pavilion on Next-Generation Video Architecture at the upcoming SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2011.

ARRIS, Cheetah Technologies, Cisco Systems, Elemental Technologies, Harmonic, Ineoquest, JDSU, Motorola Mobility, NDS, RGB Networks, Ruckus Wireless, SeaChange International and Verivue will make up a large-scale representation of the architectures, technologies and challenges involved with the delivery of content from increasingly diverse sources to both tethered and untethered devices.

The exhibitors will represent specific areas of cable operator infrastructures, including content delivery networks, off-network devices, headend configurations and home networks.

“Consumer demand and technological innovation are rapidly changing expectations for video delivery,” said Terry Cordova, chair of the conference’s program committee.  “We’ve created the Next-Generation Video Architecture Pavilion to show how the industry can harness current and expected technologies to maintain and even increase its competitive edge.”

The SCTE Cable-Tec Expo is scheduled for November 15 – 17 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.  Click here for more information or to register.
