Funding details announced for more Operation High Speed projects

QUEBEC – The Government of Quebec this week provided funding details for several projects recently announced to be part of phase two of the Canada-Quebec Operation High Speed. This includes $6.21 million for Vidéotron to provide high-speed Internet access to 1,560 households in the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions. The total project is expected to cost $7.85 million. A further $18.9 million was allocated to the D’Autray Regional County Municipality (RCM) and the Matawinie RCM to support continued deployment of high-speed Internet to 10,980 households.
