
Sports-first live TV streaming platform FuboTV announced Tuesday it has acquired live streaming rights to the 2024 DIRECTV Soccer Champions Tour in Canada.
Consisting of six matches, the tour will feature five of Europe’s best football clubs — Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester City FC and Chelsea FC — competing across six U.S. stadiums including Yankee Stadium in New York City and Soldier Field in Chicago.
The DIRECTV Soccer Champions Tour schedule is as follows:
- Saturday, July 27: Manchester City vs AC Milan at Yankee Stadium, New York City, 6 p.m. ET
- Tuesday, July 30: FC Barcelona vs Manchester City at Camping World Stadium, Orlando, 7 p.m. ET
- Wednesday, July 31: AC Milan vs Real Madrid CF at Soldier Field, Chicago, 8:30 p.m. ET
- Saturday, August 3: Real Madrid CF vs FC Barcelona at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J., 7 p.m. ET
- Tuesday, August 6: Real Madrid CF vs Chelsea at Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, N.C., 7 p.m. ET
- Tuesday, August 6: FC Barcelona vs AC Milan at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, 7:30 p.m. ET

This agreement “further solidifies Fubo’s position as Canada’s premier soccer streaming platform,” Fubo’s press release says. The platform offers subscribers exclusive soccer content in Canada, including English Premier League available in 4K, and expansive sports coverage through partners such as CBC, MLB.TV, NBA TV Canada and OneSoccer. In addition, Fubo’s entertainment and news offering includes dozens of live TV channels and more than 12,000 TV shows and movies on demand.
Canadian subscribers can stream Fubo programming from their mobile device, connected TV or web browser. The Fubo app is available on Amazon Fire TV, Android, Google TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Hisense, iOS, LG TV, Roku and Xbox One.
