LOS ANGELES and EDMONTON – Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution and Allarco Entertainment have signed a multi-year feature film output agreement.
Under this new deal, a broad selection of Fox feature films will air on national pay TV service Super Channel.
The agreement was concluded by Gina Brogi, senior vice-president Worldwide Pay Television for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, and Sandy Perkins, vice-president programming for Super Channel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal means features like Waitress, The Namesake and Juno, to sci-fi flicks like Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, and big hits like Alvin and the Chipmunks and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, will be available to SC subscribers.
The deal builds on the existing relationship between Fox and Allarco that included Super Channel’s airing of the television series Burn Notice.
