Former CBC exec Bristow launches global content company

TORONTO – Julie Bristow, former CBC executive director of studio and unscripted programming, has launched her own content creation company, Bristow Global Media Inc. BGM will specialize in and produce multiplatform content across all genres including scripted, lifestyle, reality, documentary and sports. Media companies GroupM Entertainment and Fresh One Productions have joined BGM as partners. Bristow, who left the CBC in May, says BGM represents a new business model for a global production company and is positioned to make a significant impact on the TV and digital landscape internationally.
