Former ATI and Nortel CFO Nickerson to join Miranda board after IPO close


MONTREAL – Digital broadcast gear manufacturer Miranda Technologies announced Wednesday that Terry Nickerson (right) will be appointed as a member of the board of directors, and chair of the audit committee, at the closing of its Initial Public Offering.

The underwriting syndicate for Miranda Technologies’ Initial Public Offering is led by Genuity Capital Markets and BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc, and includes Desjardins Securities Inc, National Bank Financial Inc and TD Securities Inc.

Nickerson has more than 30 years of high technology, financial and manufacturing experience. From 2000 to 2004, he served as Chief Financial Officer at graphics chip maker ATI. Before this, he worked at Nortel Networks as senior vice-president, finance and CFO. His career started with 18 years at IBM.

Nickerson is currently a Director of Quake Technologies and Silicon Storage Technology
