First transmission solution for new ATSC mobile handheld due out in November

CINCINNATI – The first full mobile digital TV transmission platform to meet the new Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) solution proposed earlier this week by LG Electronics, Inc. and Samsung will be introduced in November 2008. Harris Corporation, the company delivering the solution, said it will enable television broadcasters to quickly begin the transition to mobile digital television (DTV).
