First FTTH multi-dwelling unit in Atlantic Canada opens its doors

HALIFAX – Bell Aliant has completed the first multi-residential building in Atlantic Canada fitted with its fibre-to-the-home network FibreOP.In tandem with residential landlord Killam, Bell Aliant retrofited a 151-unit high rise building in Fredericton, NB, after a kitchen fire on September 9, 2009 resulted in extensive smoke and water damage to the nine-storey building.
