First annual WIFT International Short Film Showcase announced

TORONTO Women in Film and Television - Toronto, in partnership with the National Film Board, today announced the first annual WIFT International Short Film Showcase. The event will celebrate the outstanding filmmaking talents of women worldwide, will take place on International Women’s Day - March 8, 2006, and feature nine Canadian and international short films. The WIFT International Short Film Showcase is an initiative of Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI) and will feature screenings across the WIFTI network.
