Fight Network lands Molson Grand Prix promotional deal

TORONTO – The testosterone levels just kicked up a notch as The Fight Network has landed a two-year promotional deal with the Molson Grand Prix of Toronto.

This year, during race weekend from July 7-9, celebrity fighters will make appearances at the race, featuring mixed martial arts and boxing events.

Special guests this year include wrestling’s Bret “Hitman” Hart and AJ Styles of TNA Wrestling. The Fight Network will air “Rumble at the Race,” featuring mixed martial arts demonstrations and boxing bouts in Thunder Alley.

“We’re delighted to partner with Molson Grand Prix of Toronto,” said Mike Garrow, The Fight Network President. “We share a comparable fan base so it makes good business sense to partner. We always jump at a chance to bring live programming to events and get up close and personal with our Fight Network fans,” he added.

“This relationship represents the new efforts we’re making to add to the total fan experience both on and off-track at our event,” said Charlie Johnstone, Grand Prix Association of Toronto President and CEO. “The addition of two Fight Network competition sized rings in our Thunder Alley area this year will provide visitors with a truly rare opportunity to interact with the stars of mixed martial arts, wrestling and boxing,”
