TORONTO – Fight Network and FNTSY Sports Network have launched on U.S.-based mobile cable Internet streaming service YipTV, said the channels' parent Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. this week.
YipTV bypasses the cable box to offer live-channel broadcasts of sports, news and entertainment from around the globe to the millions of multilingual foreign-born consumers living in the U.S., with a focus on the underserved Hispanic market, reads the news release. Both networks are included with YipTV’s premium membership for $14.99 a month.
“We are always looking to reach audiences previously unable to access our content,” said Anthem CEO Leonard Asper, in the release. “Our addition to YipTV’s Internet-based service now makes us available in new markets across the U.S. and on multiple platforms, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops and Smart TVs.”
