Fight Network expands U.S. footprint into Texas

TORONTO – Canada’s Fight Network this week announced that it has expanded onto Texas-based cable system Grande Communications.

Beginning August 1, 2014, Fight Network can be found on channel 240 as part of the Ultra Sports Tier.

Fight Network is a 24/7 television channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports. It airs programs focused on the entire scope of the combat sports genre, including live fights and up-to-the-minute news and analysis for mixed martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, professional wrestling, traditional martial arts, fight news, as well as fight-themed drama series, documentaries and feature films.

Ten-year-old Grande Communications serves over 140,000 customers across Texas with Internet, TV and phone services for residential and business customers in Dallas, Midland/Odessa, Waco, Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio and Corpus Christi.

Fight Network also launched in the U.S. on Cablevision’s Optimum TV on June 26, 2014.
